NUHN Header Series Lagoon Agitation Boat - Start the revolution!



The Nuhn Lagoon Crawler is an amphibious vehicle designed for agitating lagoons. The wheels are able to drop down, giving the vehicle roughly 6 feet of ground clearance. The unit then drives itself into a lagoon, where it turns into an agitation boat.

When in the lagoon, the Lagoon Crawler is powered by a triple port, Nuhn Header Series manure pump. 7000GPM volumes are used to manuever the pontoon through the lagoon and agitate the solids from the bottom. The header pump is able to extend into the manure to ensure complete submersion of the housing. The Nuhn Lagoon Crawler does not need a priming system.

Once the lagoon is emptied, the four wheels are lowered and the machine is able to drive itself out of the lagoon.

Om grote mestbassins, van twee hectare of meer, goed te kunnen mixen is een standaard mestmixer niet voldoende. Het Canadese bedrijf Nuhn ontwikkelde daarom een op afstand bestuurbaar amfibievoertuig dat door het bassin 'zwemt' en zo de mest mixt.

Het voertuig heet de Lagoon Crawler. Op het land rijdt hij door midel van vier hydraulisch aangedreven wielen. Wanneer hij in de mest drijft worden krachtige pompen gebruikt om het aan te drijven, net als bij een jetski. Een computer weet wanneer hij de aandrijving tussen wielen en pomp moet in- en uitschakelen.
