Rumor Run-down

We first learned a couple of weeks ago that Deere's new 8RT would be hitting the fields this spring. And the rumor mill was hard at work after that. As it stands now, Deere was working with a couple of 8RT models in the field — we've got some snapshots to share. But the fact of the matter is that the 8RT hasn't landed at dealerships yet. Dealers are indeed taking orders now. We've heard of a few other rumors and we're working to confirm them, so check back often.



What's next...
The AirCushion Suspension System has proven itself on the 9030T Series Track Tractors, and it's a natural match for the 8RT Series Track Tractors. Check back often as we look at the suspension system's basic design concepts.

We're curious how the AirCushion Suspension System works on the 8RTs. We've seen it put to the test. We know it helps improve transport speed. And the 9030T Series Track Tractors have the most comfortable ride round. But what about the ride inside the 8RT cab? For the answer to that question, we need to drive an 8RT. Or talk to someone who has. Or see how it's built. Or find one parked somewhere. Knowing our luck, we better go with option number four.

John Deere has released an official photo of the AirCushion Suspension System on its upcoming 8RT Series Track Tractors! We've shown you this angle a long time ago — we can only hope that there's more in store. And thanks to our friends in Canadian potato country, we have this look at what is believed to be the new track tractor. There's a lot of speculation about what's new on this machine. Could this be it?
